Ever feel like marketeers just waffle on and you don’t really understand what’s they’re saying? We’re here to help bust that jargon. Every week on #wafflewednesday we’ll be helping you understand a little more about what we do, and about the vocabulary we use! Often we use these Google Partners cards to help illustrate the context of when this language would be used in conversation. By being as transparent as possible we can help our clients understand more about our practice!

What is “Remarketing?” It is the strategy of targeting audiences that have already shown an interest in your brand by visiting your website. This is a great tactic because it helps re-establish your brand name, reminding previous buyers who are more likely to buy from you again. The following diagram should help demonstrate this process.

Website visitors are shown adverts on other websites thanks to a cookie placed on their browser the first time they visited the site. This tag follows users as they are browsing other areas of the internet and reminds audiences to make a purchase by re-establishing this brand awareness.
This can work for Adwords advertising or social media campaigns such as Facebook. Get in touch today to see how we can help you grow your campaign!
